HEY AGGIES! Sorry it has been a while, my camera and memory card have been on the fritz, but they are mostly working now so we are back on!
I'd first like to blog about our amazing Alum-night we had with Ted Jensen, VP of IBEW. He is quite the man who has a lot of knowledge, and we truly enjoyed having him speak to us! He talked a lot about compliments of certain things and just how to grab an opportunity when it comes at you. One thing he said that I really liked was that when you say no or shut one door, another doesn't always open. He suggested to take each opportunity and peel back its layers and see what it holds and what it will do to benefit you in the long run.

He also added in that as students, now while we are developing life long habits and patterns, that right now, we need to take the time to do something we enjoy. As students we are always running out of time because of work, school, projects, roommates, family and everything else the world throws at us, but one of his biggest suggestions was to make sure you take time to do something you enjoy. I would also like to add, that by doing that, it actually keeps most of us students pretty sane and it makes it a lot easier to enjoy life!
The next thing that we need to catch up on is our UGLY SWEATER DANCE!!!!!!!!!! What a great SAA activity! We had a lot of people show up and have a good time and blow off some dead week stress! There is nothing quite like getting with your friends, wearin' your ugly sweater and dancin' the night away! Thanks for coming everyone, it was a great time!
Last but not least.....TRUE AGGIE NIGHT! For it being the middle of December and freezing cold, we had a great turn out! Thanks everyone for comin' to smooch you sweat heart at midnight! Go Aggies!!!
Last but not least I would just like to wish all the Aggies out there a Happy Holidays! It sounded like this semester was pretty rough for a lot of us, but we all made it through and had some great times along the way! Thanks for making Fall 2011 a great one! We cant wait to see you back next semester!
HAPPY HOLIDAY AGGIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
