Still your madly beating hearts, and check your impulse to run around in a frenzy, yelling (in your mind), "Hoorah hoorah oh hoorah! Long have I waited for the chance to join the wicked awesome USU Student Alumni Association Executive Board! What must I do to have this privilege? Who can I bribe? How long do I have to bribe them? Not that I need any, but what are the perks of being on the exec. board? I GOTSTA KNOW!!!"
Here is a little info for you, dear reader. And in bulletin form!
- Applications are available through the monthly member email, or at the Alumni House. No matter which way you get it, you need to return it in paper form to the Alumni House.
- Applications are due by 5 p.m. on March 24th. There are NO exceptions. Think of it as being due by 5 p.m. on...March 23. Yeah.
- Those who are selected to serve will be notified by Friday, April 2nd.
- NO BRIBING! You can give me monetary gifts if you'd like, but that will only give you my personal appreciation. Sorry.
- Perks- far too many to count. I tried, but I was overwhelmed. Let's just say that the positives(many) far outweigh the negatives (few) in whatever position you apply for.
A wise man named Jack Handey once said, "I hope some animal never bores a hole in my head and lays its eggs in my brain, because later you might think you're having a good idea but it's just eggs hatching." Well my friends, that sensation in you brains right now is the former, not the latter. It is a good idea. Now, go to! Apply! Put your little hearts into that application!
Well, that's about it.
