Highway Cleanup, Movie Nights, and Halloween Party!

Hey everyone! It has been a very eventful semester so far for the Student Alumni Association! Highway cleanup went well, thanks to all our volunteers!

Monthly Movie Night has been a hit! We watched Hocus Pocus in October and Up in November. What will we watch next time? It's a mystery.

Everyone enjoyed the SAA Halloween Party. Scary stories were told, treats were eaten, costumes were worn. Good times!

And we can't forget True Aggie Nights!

Don't miss out on our upcoming activities-

• Cafe Sabor night November 19 (tomorrow) is free to paying members
• Come help decorate the SAA Christmas tree for Holiday Lanes November 24th (Tuesday)
• Chuck Your Change is December 1st, with funds going toward making Christmas special for Logan families
• True Aggie Night is December 2nd.
• The SAA Christmas Party is December 9th!

HOMECOMING 2009

Hey everyone! Homecoming was a blast this year! We started the week with street painting and finished it off with the Homecoming parade and game. Good times were had by all.

The parade consisted of more that 70 entries, including but not limited to:

ASUSU, USU Swing Club, Army ROTC, Utah Congressman Rob Bishop, Sub for Santa, and the USU Marching Band

Of course, our very own Student Alumni Exec. Board wrapped it up.

Opening Barbeque!

The opening barbeque had a great turn out with everyone enjoying barbeque sandwiches, snow cones, and Viewers Like You!

Members and friends had a great time getting to know each other, listening to the band and watching the antics of the band members and ska dancers.

"Tonight's gonna be a good good night!" It's here! The first True Aggie Night of the year! Hopefully we'll see all your smiling faces out at the A tonight at midnight! Bring your friends, your significant other, or not, just come for a good time!

Opening Barbeque

This coming Wednesday, September 9th, is our Opening Barbeque. There will be great food, friends, and fun. Plus Viewers Like You will be on hand providing LIVE music, so don't miss it!

True Aggie Night

On the night of February 9th, 2009, it was True Aggie Night once again, this time with a touch of Valentine's Day. After snowing all day, we were left with a gorgeous landscape of snow frosted trees and a sweet glow from the reflection of light off of the snow and the low cloud cover. We had a great turn out and the couple that was wearing the most red and pink received giant chocolate lips! It was also one of our Exec Board member's birthday: Megan Furniss - Happy Birthday Megan! Thanks to all those who came and made it possible as well as a success. Don't forget to mark your calendars on March 11th for the next True Aggie Night.

Etiquette Dinner

On February 4th, we had our annual Etiquette Dinner at Hamilton's restaurant. The food was amazing and we learned some great tips on etiquette from USU professor Bonnie Smith.
